The Birds

Das Stück lief am letzten Tag des Festivals und war, obwohl vorausschaubar, interessant und spannend inszeniert.
Leider war es für meine Augen wieder zu weit weg. Ich muss wirklich versuchen immer Karten weit vorn zu bekommen oder mehr als einmal zu gehen.

Ciaran Hinds ist ein bekannter Schauspieler (ich habe ihn jedenfalls schon in einigen Filmen gesehen) und auch seine Partnin war sehr gut.
Mit den Vögeln von Hitchcock kann man es nicht vergleichen. Das hier ist mehr ein Endzeitstück, nicht so auf Horroreffekten bedacht.
Ein persönliche Anmerkung: wieder ein Schauspieler, der in Harry Potter mitmacht. :)

The world premier of The Birds will be the fourth play by McPherson to be presented by the Gate in the Festival.
